Role of Supervisor - AMED801
This unit equips the graduate for the role of supervision. Competencies will include adult learning, goal setting, motivation and feedback. Assessors will have to achieve competence as Assessors using five types of assessment tool:
- direct observation of the Scholar's patient-related activities by a clinical Assessor;
- focused oral assessment of the Scholar by a clinical Assessor;
- review of written material produced by the Scholar;
- review of workplace clinical records kept by the Scholar; and
- multi-source feedback on the Scholar's workplace activities by a range of members of the care team.
