Social Innovation, Governance and Professional Leadership - LAWS300
Mentored by public and corporate policy development professionals, students will gain real experience by tackling major policy reform projects across a matrix of social, ethical, business, environmental, health, technology, public order, security, organisational, market, legal and political issues. They will engage in stakeholder consultation, multi-disciplinary analysis, comprehensive policy proposal development and advocacy to address contemporary challenges in justice, social capital-building, ethical practice, and participatory expansion in both public and private sectors. Students will learn how their individual agency as professionals and capacities in collaborative policy innovation and organisational leadership can contribute to constructive change for a breadth of community stakeholders.
