ECFS907: Special Topics in Applied Finance

This unit will examine a range of topical issues in finance. The issues will depend on current financial and economic market conditions, and on the availability of suitably qualified and experienced teaching staff. Potential areas of interest are to be drawn from the fields of Investment Management, Financial Instruments, Corporate Finance and Financial Risk Management. The content is likely to vary from offering to offering as financial markets, products, and participants evolve, and as the regulatory environment changes. The focus will be on current and likely future conditions, and will seek to combine underlying theory with a strong practical emphasis.
